DESCRIPTION:Please join us for a very special event celebrating photographer Dawn Kish\, as she presents her latest Glen Canyon project and discusses her upcoming exhibit at the Gilbert Historical Museum\, along with partners Art Intersection and Arizona Highways Magazine. \nDawn Kish\, an award-winning conservation photographer and filmmaker\, seamlessly intertwines art\, adventure\, and advocacy. At the age of 17\, she received her first camera\, igniting a passion for storytelling that has since transformed her captivating photographs into immersive films. \nThe most recent film\, Tad’s Emerging World: Glen Canyon Exposed\, premiered at the prestigious Banff Film Festival. A special screening will take place at 7pm\, along with a Q&A after with co- curator Richard Jackson. Her latest project\, Glen Canyon Exposed: Now and Then\, is presented in collaboration with the Glen Canyon Institute at the Gilbert Historical Museum\, Oct 17th\, 2026 – Feb 20th\, 2027.
