Students will learn how to create compelling photographic images in an exploration of personal identity. Using any type of camera that can capture digital images, students will gain a fundamental understanding of the principles of photography or how it really works, as well as lighting and composition. The main focus of the class will be on how to use these elements to create personal images with meaning; in other words, what makes an image YOUR image?
On July 29, students will showcase their finished work in the lobby gallery of Art Intersection. Materials provided by student: A digital SLR, point and shoot or iphone and a tripod (optional)
