Metal Repair Tape Journal

September 14, 7-9:30pm
$30 + $8 materials fee

The first question everyone asks is, “What is metal repair tape”? Unless you are a hardware store junkie or repair air ducts, there is no reason for you to know that such a thing exists. Its’ intended use is repairing air condition ducts. But in the hands of savvy crafters it is turned in to a pliable metal that can be textured and distressed to look like aged steel. In this workshop you will learn how to manipulate the tape using texturing tools, sand paper, and permanent ink. We will also discuss what designs work best, different ways to make and which materials work best for the relief, and the many different applications and projects that can be made using this technique.
