Lecture: Moving into New Ventures
We each have a History of our life, invented and conceived by each of us as we live our moments through the lens of our senses. Sometimes our History is welcoming, encouraging. Other times we get stuck with a decision that was needed in the moment but now, years later, holds us back and keeps us from finding a path which is more nurturing.
Join Dr. Thompson as she describes an art process she created and has used with clients over the past eighteen years that provides a way for each person to change their history using healing art. She works with both adults and children who have a range of abilities from developmental to gifted. She will show how this process works and introduce the audience to the works of every day people changing their history and moving into new ventures, jobs, relationships, and dreams.

Seminar: Begin to Change your History with Healing Art and Music
The one thing you’ll find out about yourself at this workshop is who and what your resources are and a process to discover another way to experience your life than the one you have now. In other words, you will have a choice, and the choice will be possible because you become aware of another way to be who you are, have what you have, and do what you do.
Dr. Thompson who has used this process with over 500 adults and children during the past 18 years facilitates the journey. It includes listening to music modified by filters and delivered through special headphones with air and bone conduction to “tune you in” to your body-mind. The goal for the workshop is to create a new level of awareness and understanding of what you can discover through healing art stimulated with healing sound.
