Healing Blocks using metal repair tape The first question everyone asks is, “What is metal repair tape?” Unless you are a hardware store junkie or repair air ducts, there is no reason for you to know that such a thing exists. In the hands of savvy crafters it is turned into a pliable metal that can be textured and distressed to look like aged steel. In this workshop you will learn how to manipulate metal tape using various tools, how to use a Cuttlebug (die cut letters), and distress the tape using permanent ink. We will also discuss different applications and projects that can be made using this technique.
In addition to learning the techniques, we will also explore the definition of a single word and how it applies to you. Instead of hiding what you are personally working through in a journal put it out there in the form of a single word. Face it every day. Own it! Once taken out of the context of a journal, the word will only take on the meaning that you place on it. The techniques you take away from this workshop will allow you construct your own personal tower.
